Nipawin Bible College is excited to launch Day Camps this summer for ages 8-15!

There are 4 weeks of sports camp which will have the campers playing a variety of outdoor and indoor sports as well as some fun wide games around Nipawin Bible College's campus. This is a great way for children and teens to be active and engage with others while still complying with Saskatchewan's Covid 19 guidelines. There will also be 1 week of craft camp which will involve many different crafts and fun activities while also complying with Saskatchewan's Covid 19 guidelines.

For all camps drop off will take place at 9am and pick up at 4pm.

The cost is $125 for a week of Sports Day Camp, exception is $100 for August 4-7 (shorter week) and $150 for a week of Crafts Camp

A camper will be registered for the whole week and there is a maximum of 15 campers per week. If there are cancellations, we will not be able to refund BUT we can transfer the registration to another eligible camper

Every item must be labeled with the camper's name to avoid touching other camper's belongings.

Dress Code

Campers must be modestly dressed or will be sent home

No tank tops, low necklines or muscle shirts.

All shorts must go down at least to the mid thigh.

Please avoid very tight fitting clothing.

 

Rules and Regulations

*A parent/guardian must sign in and sign out the child/teen at the beginning and end of each day. When signing in they are also declaring that the child/teen is healthy and has not displayed any Covid 19 symptoms

*Campers must sanitize their hands when they arrive

*Everyone must stay 2 meters away from others (unless you are siblings). This includes during lunch and on the sidelines/bench. The exception to this rule is when playing a sport

*No contact during sports

*No handshakes or high fives

*After each sport campers will be sent to wash their hands in the bathrooms

*Lunch will take place in the student lounge where tables will be set up to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Campers must not move the tables or chairs closer together

*No sharing or trading any food or drink

*Everyone must wash their hands for 20 seconds after eating

*Once finished eating lunch and washing hands campers may play ping pong, pool, or air hockey in the student lounge or go down to the gym to practice the sport we will play after lunch

*All campers should inform a volunteer or staff when they are going to the bathroom so staff can monitor how many campers are in the bathroom at one time

*Pre-packaged Tuck will be sold during the 10:30 break and at the 2:30 break. Pre-purchasing Tuck during registration is ideal but we will take cash during those times when necessary

*Campers and staff may not enter any building other than the gym/student lounge to ensure there is no interaction with other college staff

*At the end of the day once a camper sees their parent has arrived they are asked to take their belongings and leave as quickly as possible to avoid unnecessary gatherings

*Gloves and face masks are not required or recommended

*If a child/teen begins to develop symptoms of Covid 19 the parent/guardian will be called to pick their child up immediately

FAQ

Will I get a refund if my child/teen can only attend part of the week?

No refunds will be given but registrations can be transferred to another eligible child prior to the first day of camp.

 

What if I cannot pick up my child/teen at 4pm?

There will be no child supervision after 4pm each day as the staff will be giving their full attention to sanitizing in preparation for the next day. If you cannot be there at 4pm you must arrange for someone to pick up the camper at 4pm.

 

Can I register my child/teen for more than one week of camp?

Yes, you can register your child for a maximum of 2 camps.

 

What if my child/teen has their birthday during the summer?

Your child must be the age required by the first day of the day camp week.
