2020 marks NBC’s 31st Annual Encore Retreat - a retreat designed for those who are age 55+. Each year our retreat brings with it the anticipation of renewing acquaintances and making new friends. These retreats are designed so that personal refreshment and spiritual renewal are blended with learning and fellowship in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Keynote Speaker: John Loge
John is a passionate follower of Jesus who wants to share whatever God has given him with others. He and his wife, Audrey, live on 450 acres of land north of Nipawin, which is enough to provide pasture for their small dairy herd, land for hunting, and wood to heat their home. He enjoys hunting and fishing but what really raises his heart rate is teaching the Word of God. He has experienced the love and forgiveness of the Lord Jesus and wants everyone to grow in His grace and knowledge. He serves as president and academic dean of Nipawin Bible College and teaches several classes as well. He is a medical doctor by training and has a seminary degree in Biblical studies from Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary. He and Audrey enjoy travelling to speak in churches, have served as short-term missionaries in several countries, and have four adult children plus four grandchildren.

Remembering Senior Moments
We will look together at several characters in the Bible who used their “Golden Years” for the glory of God.
A country & folk musician from Eckville, AB. His uplifting and entertaining style will have you both worshiping and laughing. He is definitely “from the farm” so bring your cowboy boots to tap along as he plays and sings. For more information about Ben, check out his website: www.bencrane.com/. He will also be bringing some of his artwork for you to enjoy.
Drama Presentation: Carl Ens
The Epistle of James
Carl and his wife Brenda are from Aylsham, SK and work with Healing Hearts Ministries. You will remember Carl’s excellent presentation from Encore 2019 about missionary Jim Elliot and friends. This year, he will present a dramatized recitation of the epistle of James.
For those interested in handcrafts, we will offer two workshops.
Horseshoe pits, crokinole boards, board games, and bocce balls will be available for those interested in some friendly competition. Feel free to bring your own equipment or games to add to the fun.
Our campus is just 10 minutes from superb walleye fishing and an excellent 18-hole golf course.

Rooms are available in our student dorms for any guests needing accommodations. There are two single beds in each room. Guests can relax and visit with each other in the central lounge located in each dorm. You will need to bring your own bedding and towels.
If you choose to stay in your RV for the week, there are electrical hook ups available for you.
Please indicate on your registration what type of accommodations you will require.

If you prefer to call the College to make payment by credit card over the phone, you can do this. Simply call 306.862.5095, tell our receptionist that you are paying by credit card for your Encore registration and give them the name(s) and phone number(s) of those you are paying for.
Please note that at $50 deposit is required by May 21st to reserve your spot.
