We are praying for a Godly Pastor who:
⮚ Loves the Lord as evidenced by a vibrant spiritual life
⮚ Lives a life that inspires others; characterized by prayer, servanthood, and sacrifice
⮚ Has a passionate love to teach and preach the Gospel with a high view of Scripture and its absolute truth
⮚ Is intentional about discipleship and discerns and encourages the development of spiritual gifts
⮚ Enjoys ministering to the church and its community through participation, visitation, and hospitality
⮚ Leads by example and lives what he preaches
⮚ Meets the Biblical requirements set out in 1 Timothy and Titus
⮚ Encourages and supports the church’s leaders and its programs
⮚ Is personable and relatable, and desires to be part of our church family and community
Compensation will be commensurate with training and experience, and will be fairly negotiated according to the compensation guidelines of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC).
About Us:
Asquith Baptist Church is a vibrant, small-town church located in Asquith Saskatchewan, 20 minutes west of Saskatoon, SK. Our multi-generational congregation consists of roughly 80 people and we run several children’s and youth programs, Bible studies, and other community events. We belong to the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC), and are an active supporter of the CBWC camp, The Quest At Christopher Lake.
