What you bring
• Spiritual Maturity: A life marked by biblical qualities of an elder including family prioritization as well as a love to equip others to become more faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
• Biblical Preaching and Teaching: Christ-centric, and proven experience in engaging expository preaching and prioritizing the ministry of the Word and prayer.
• Visionary Leadership: A kingdom-focused mindset with experience in implementing a local church vision, navigating change wisely, and collaborating effectively.
• Discipleship: Relationally oriented with a strong desire and experience in leading discipleship efforts and supporting diverse needs within the congregation.
• Education and Doctrinal Requirements:
– Agreement with and ability to teach in accordance with the Statement of Faith for the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada (AGC).
– Credentialed by the AGC or eligible for credentialing.
– Bachelor’s degree from a Christian post-secondary institution.
– A minimum of five years of pastoral ministry experience.
