Camp Director at David Thompson Bible Camp

David Thompson Bible Camp is seeking an organized, self-motivated individual to join the camp as Camp Director. This job will be full time from May 15th-September 15th and part-time in the off-season.

The ideal candidate will:

·         love God and people;

·         have a desire to present the Gospel in a camp setting;

·         have the administrative and technical skills required to manage ongoing camp operation.

The Ministry

David Thompson Bible Camp (DTBC) is a Christ-centered summer camp which was founded in 1961 near Fairview, Alberta. DTBC is affiliated with One Hope Canada. Although DTBC is a small camp, it has been blessed by the immeasurable generosity of many volunteers and donors, and is a testament to the faithfulness of God and His people. DTBC’s purpose is to share the Gospel message with children of all ages and to lead them to a deeper relationship with God.

The Job

The role of Camp Director at DTBC is one that requires a heart for camp ministry, as well as the skills and knowledge required to administer the day-to-day operations of the camp. The Camp Director must be physically capable of assisting with maintenance issues, as well as participation in the daily operations of the camp. They must also have strong interpersonal skills, as they strive to develop, maintain, and expand public relations with summer missionaries, volunteers, local churches, and the general public.
