LEF (Langenburg Evangelical Fellowship) is a non-denominational and is an independent evangelical church located in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, Canada.

LEF is seeking:  a full time or part time pastor, or a missionary pastor.

Congregational Demographic presently:

·         Paid Staff: 1 part time secretary

·         Leadership Team: 4 (volunteers)

·         Many volunteers serving in various jobs

·         Average attendance: 60-70 people

Ministries: One main service & Sunday schools on Sunday mornings and various meetings throughout the week.

·         women’s / young mom’s bible studies

·         youth study

·         bible quizzing

·         conversational English class

·         Renovated school / 16,000 sq feet

·         Sanctuary (with full technical equipment for projection, sound, live streaming)

Pastor’s office, additional two offices for future associate & youth pastors

·         3 Sunday school rooms

·         Dining area with fully equipped licensed kitchen

Qualifications of Pastor

·         Servant leader, I Tim 2:1-2, 4:14-15, Prob 2:1-8, Phil 1:6-7, I Tim 3:8-13, Rom 12, I Thess 5:16-17, Eph 4:1-3

·         Authentic, current, growing relationship with the Lord

·         Fervent prayer personal life

·         Integrity, know the Bible in depth

·         Mature, born-again, preaching Holy Bible

·         Love for people and approachable

·         Agree to and embrace LEF core values, mission statement of faith, and constitution

·         Meet the requirements in I Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, I Peter 5:1-4

·         Desire to share the gospel of Death, Bury & Resurrection and see people come to believe Christ

·         Familiarity (or willing to learn) with the dynamics of a small rural community

Pastor’s duty (not limited to):

·         pulpit ministry (preach, teach, and equip leaders)

·         lead and equip leadership team

·         support and equip ministry leaders

·         visioning and strategic planning

·         visit as needed

·         care for and support our youth and multi-generational church family

·         engage with the community and ministerial

·         oversee outreach to lost people

Preferred additional skills:

·         Communication skills in preaching, teaching

·         Discipling

·         Evangelizing

·         Mentoring

·         Organizing

·         Leadership

·         Motivation

·         Self-starter

Preferred Education:

·         Ministry degree (an ordained pastor is preferred but not required)

·         A minimum of 4 years of pastoral (and or equivalent) experience.
