Lifeguards

Simonhouse Bible Camp is located in northern Manitoba just across the border from Saskatchewan and ministers to many, many towns and indigenous communities. Smonhouse ministers in an area with few churches. 80% of our campers have little to no church influence in their lives and a large number come from foster homes. For our campers, camp may be the only place they hear the name of Jesus! Will you help us tell them?

Our team in 2023 came from all over north America: BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Minnesota, Arizona & Florida!

NLS Lifeguards are needed on our beach to ensure camper and staff safety for our waterfront programs. Lifeguards ensure the beach and dock area is in good shape, and safe, ensure campers and staff and instructed how to properly fit lifejackets on water toys, watch for troublesome weather and supervise all swimming activities. Lifeguards can also participate in other areas such as Cabin Leader or assist with Senior Staff roles when not on the beach making this a well rounded, fun position! Remuneration includes honorarium and may also qualify for the Extra Wages program or a government grant.
