Nipawin Bible College is pleased to announce that we are working together with Ethnos Canada. An Ethnos representative will be embedded in the NBC staff starting in September 2021. Doug Harkness will be teaching a course on Missions (this will be an online evening course) in the fall and will be representing both Ethnos (formerly New Tribes Mission) and NBC as he travels in Western Canada. We welcome Doug to our staff and campus and look forward to working together to promote both post-secondary Biblical education and foreign missions.

Doug Harkness
Doug was born in Hamilton, Ontario, surrendered his life to Christ in 1977, and graduated from London Baptist Bible College (BTh) in 1984. After graduation, he and his wife Debi raised two sons in Simcoe, Ontario, working in the grocery business while serving the Lord at Grace Baptist Church. Doug served as Pastor of Village Baptist church in Bobcaygeon for 14 years and was challenged during a trip to Wayumi in Pennsylvania in October of 2015 to become a representative for Ethnos Canada. Doug currently resides in Durham, Ontario, (but will be moving to Nipawin, SK, in August 2021) and also serves as a Volunteer Chaplain with the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada. He has three grandchildren, and loves to motorcycle. Revelation 4:11 has been instrumental in keeping life in focus.
