Interim President: Jason Elford
The Nipawin Bible College Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Elford as Interim President for the upcoming 2018-19 college year. Jason is an alumnus of NBC, having graduated in 1998 with a Christian Leadership Diploma. He was voted to serve as Alumni President in 2006 and was hired at NBC beginning the fall of 2011, first with a role in Alumni Relations and serving most recently as Director of Admissions & Alumni Relations over the past 5 years. Jason and his wife Lindsay have 4 daughters and are very involved in the college community and their home church at Emmanuel Baptist in Nipawin.
New Staff Appointments
NBC is pleased to announce Dr. Peter Barber as one of our new faculty members. He is currently teaching in the areas of Bible, Theology, Mission Studies, and will serve as college tutor. Peter recently completed his PhD thesis through the University of Aberdeen. He is married to Amanda and has four children, and it is great to have them on campus. He enjoys discovering and playing music old and new, exploring God’s creation, and looking for the soon return of the LORD Jesus Christ.
Jeremy Loseth is also a new faculty member at NBC this fall. Jeremy is no stranger to NBC as he is an alumnus of the college (’13) and has worked for the college in various capacities over the years since then: Resident Assistant, Maintenance, and Adjunct Faculty. Jeremy’s wife, Wynona, is also an NBC alumnus (’15) and currently on the Alumni Exec. They have one daughter. Jeremy is studying for his Masters of Theology from South African Theological Seminary focusing on apologetics.
Timothy Lenko has been on staff at NBC as the Admissions Counsellor and Drama Coach since 2015. In April 2018 he finished his role as Admissions Counsellor in order to pursue a Master’s degree from Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary and College. He will continue as the Drama Coach with NBC’s Living Proof team and will serve as an adjunct faculty member teaching a couple courses and overseeing the second year missions practicum to Vancouver.
