Campus Chaplain/Instructor/Chapel Coordinator

Doug was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, dedicated his life to Christ in 1977, and graduated with a BTh from London Baptist Bible College in 1984. Doug worked for 20 years in the grocery business and served as a Pastor in the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada. He was ordained at Grace Baptist Church (Simcoe) in 2001 and remains a certified chaplain with the FEBCC. After pastoring for 14 years in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Doug was asked to represent New Tribes Mission (now Ethnos Canada). He has participated in mission trips to Jamaica, the Philippines, Bolivia, Brazil, and Haiti. His desire and prayer to God for the remaining unreached people groups of the world is, that they might have the opportunity to hear the precious Gospel of Jesus Christ and be saved in this generation. Doug's wife of 32 years passed away in 2008 but God has blessed him with two sons and three grandchildren.  He is a frequent speaker in churches and conferences and enjoys motorcycling.
