Athletics

Playing hard and challenging students to compete with integrity is an important part of athletics at NBC. You will be challenged and stretched to grow into an athlete with unwavering Christian character on and off the field.

Royals wRECk

Students can take part in Royals wRECk sports which is our in-house extracurricular sports league.  We run a different sport each Monday and Thursday afternoon for typically 6-7 weeks per sport and both staff and students sign up for whatever sports they’d like to participate in. This is another angle of building relationship and community life on campus.  Occasionally we might put together a team for an invitational sports tournament at another Bible College, most typically for indoor soccer or volleyball.  The Nipawin Indoor Soccer League is an adult co-ed league that uses NBC’s gymnasium and plays games each Tuesday night for most of the NBC year. Many of our students take part in the league which is a good fit for any level of soccer ability, and quite affordable.

 

Leagues

NISL - Nipawin Indoor Soccer League

NBC hosts an indoor soccer league called NISL, where students compete against local community teams on a weekly basis from October to April.

PAC - Prairie Athletic Conference

In the past, NBC has competed in the PAC (Prairie Athletic Conference) in both indoor and outdoor soccer. This league has NBC playing against other Bible Colleges within Saskatchewan and helps to provide challenging competition.

Community Rec Sports

Students have the opportunity to sign up as individuals or as a team in other rec leagues that take place in the community of Nipawin.  Students have taken part in hockey, volleyball and curling leagues.
